“Can I share something that’s been life-changing for me? It’s about how much God loves us.”
Let them know that your motivation is love and care for them. Sharing the Gospel isn’t about debate; it’s about inviting them into the most important relationship they could ever have.
Explain the Problem
“We all long for purpose, but deep down, we know something’s not right in the world—and in us. That’s because we’ve all made choices that hurt others, ourselves, and ultimately, separate us from God. The Bible calls this sin.”
Romans 3:23 says, ‘For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.’”
Help them see that everyone—including you—faces this problem.
Introduce the Solution
“But here’s the good news: God loves us so much that He didn’t leave us stuck. He sent His Son, Jesus, to live a perfect life, die on the cross for our sins, and rise from the dead so we could be forgiven and have a relationship with Him.”
“Romans 6:23 explains it perfectly: ‘The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.’”
Emphasize that salvation is a gift, not something we can earn.
Invite a Response
“God offers us this incredible gift, but He doesn’t force it on us. He invites us to respond—to trust Jesus as our Savior and follow Him.”
“Romans 10:9 says, ‘If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.’”
You can ask gently, “Does this make sense? Is this something you’d like to learn more about or even respond to today?”
Pray Together
If they’re ready to respond, you can lead them in a simple prayer:
“God, I admit that I’m a sinner and I need Your forgiveness. I believe Jesus died for my sins and rose again. I trust Him as my Savior and commit to following Him as my Lord. Thank You for saving me. Amen.”
